Annual Meeting
Mark your calendars for the Annual Meeting on June 28th! You can choose to participate in the Annual Meeting in two ways, in-person at the church or through a live video online via Zoom. If you prefer to participate online CLICK HERE TO JOIN THE MEETING. At the Annual Meeting, we are voting to approve the budget for the next fiscal year, reaffirm the current PLT members, and to approve the nominating committee's recommendation for adding two new members to the PLT. For more details and to read about the new candidates, scroll down to view the bios. If you are planning to attend the meeting via Zoom and you are a Committed Participant (member), you will need to email michelle@lakecommunity.org to request a digital ballot. Online voting will be closed at 11:30am on Sunday, June 28th. Since we had the Budget Dialog Meeting on June 7th, the Annual Meeting is a brief time for an update from the PLT regarding what God is doing at LCC and a time to vote. If you are participating and voting digitally, please plan ahead and request your access to vote ahead of time instead of waiting until the last minute.

Everyone is welcome to attend. Only LCC Committed Participants (members) can vote.
We are excited about our budgets and ministry plans for the upcoming ministry year. The PLT presented the budget for 2020-21 at the Budget Dialog Meeting on June 7th. The Budget Dialog Meeting is optional for those who have questions about the proposed budget or would like to discuss the proposals. The Annual Meeting is for overall reports and for voting. The Annual Meeting will not be a time for discussion. This is why we provide the dialog meeting. Please contact the elders with questions or concerns using the email below.
Pastoral Leadership Team
Pastoral Leadership Team Nominations
The Pastoral Leadership Team (PLT) is responsible for overseeing the church both spiritually and administratively. Over the past year, five men have served on the PLT - Mike Dahlquist, Wade Cole, Edgar Timberlake, Jon Ewton, and Paul Peterson. We have been praying that the Lord would expand this team and are so pleased that the Lord has raised up two men who feel called to serve as your elders.
As stated in our constitution, the PLT must appoint a nominating committee to interview, screen and recommend candidates to the PLT. Based on their recommendations, the PLT will present to you, the Committed Participants, the candidates whom we agree meet the standard to be elders. The Nominating Committee of DuWayne Paul, Scott Soderholm, Jessi Schabel, Jon Ewton, and Wade Cole has recommended two candidates.

COVID-19 Finances Update
God is the great provider through this time of uncertainty. Thank you for generously giving to Lake Community Church. Giving has continued to be strong as so many churches around the country are seeing! This is a testimony to both your obedience to give and God’s faithfulness to provide. Please continue to give through online giving or by setting up recurring giving online. This is our first pandemic. Given the uncertainty of this situation, and with much prayer, the PLT decided to apply for the Payroll Protection Program, which was available to non-profits, including churches. This is the first time we are aware the government has offered a forgivable loan to make sure churches are not adversely affected by the government’s decision to shut down organizations, and with no restrictions on freedom of religion. We saw this as yet another way the Lord is taking care of the needs of the church. Click the link below to answer questions you may have about this program. Any member of the PLT is happy to talk with you about this if you have questions or concerns. While we do not know what the future may hold, we trust firmly in the sovereign hand of our great God.
