Local & Global Outreach
We love our community and we think it is important to be involved in making it a better place to live. Connecting with our neighbors enriches our character and grows us in ways we can't even imagine.
Operation Christmas Child
- Drop off filled boxes at LCC between November 16th and 22nd. -
Instructions are included in each box. Pick up the boxes at church in the lobby by the children's wing during regular business hours. We have limited boxes. If you do not see any boxes at the display, you can use a shoebox from home or a shoebox-size plastic tote from a local store. The shoebox gifts are due back by Sunday, November 22nd. We have set up an outdoor drop box by the West Entrance for you to conveniently return them at any time of day or night. Our normal drop off time is between November 16th and November 22nd, but if you would like to drop them off earlier the box will be there.
Operation Christmas Child is a project of Samaritan's Purse, an international relief organization. They ship these simple gifts outside the United States to children affected by war, poverty, natural disaster, famine, and disease, and to children living on Native American reservations in the U.S. We praise God that each year they are able to reach millions of children in some of the most remote areas of the world with an Operation Christmas Child shoebox gift and the message of the Gospel.

Habitat for Humanity
At LCC we value our partnership with Habitat for Humanity and caring for families in our community! Through the work of Habitat, thousands of low-income families have found hope in the form of affordable housing. Churches, community groups and others have joined together to successfully tackle a significant social problem—to provide decent housing for all. Since its inception, Habitat for Humanity has built or repaired over 1 million homes, serving more than 5 million people worldwide.
We are proud to be in partnership with Love INC. This organization really shows that sharing love in the name of Christ matters! Bringing people in this community together to strive for unity, compassion, kindness, and love are just a few of the ways to describe the heart of what they do. It is an honor to serve alongside them.
