Children's Ministry Team

Want to invest in our next generation of LCC - meaning our families and children? There are many roles associated with this ministry and whatever your interests, talents and availability we can work with to help find the right place for you. Below are a few options for you to consider.

CHILDREN'S MINISTRY

  • Check-in Host

    Serve at the LCC Kids Registration Desk, helping families check-in and getting new families registered - plus answer any questions they may have.

  • LCC kids - Age 3 to 5th Grade

    Teacher: Using a provided curriculum, supervise and teach children ages 3 - 5th grade the weekly lesson, help with music or crafts, or provide other support. 

    Co-leader: Partner with another room leader to help plan and lead activities for this age group. Includes a brief story time, learning a Bible verse, singing and play time and/or planned activities.

    Serve weekly, once a month, or twice a month - depending on your availability.

  • Nursery

    Leaders: Be the one responsible for the the nursery area during worship service and be the point person for other junior helpers. 

    Helpers: Care for and play with the children and assist the nursery leader. 

    A simple training on the nursery policies and practices is required to begin serving. A current background check is required if you are 18 years of age or older.  Volunteers usually serve once or twice a month based on availability.
