Strengthening the Church

After planting a number of churches Paul and Barnabas wanted to strengthen them.  How can the church be strengthened?  We believe that a strong local church is critical to reaching the lost with the life-saving message of the Gospel.  Paul and Barnabas thought the same way because this was the first thing they did before Paul went on his second journey.  Strengthening the local church has a lot of variables.  A strong local church is stable, doctrinally sound, missional or evangelical, and it builds up new leaders.

This week we are going to continue to explore Acts 15 to see some of the key aspects of how Paul and Barnabas strengthened the local church.  There will be some twists and turns along the way.  In the end we will see that God’s plan is better than our plan and God’s way is so good.
