Jesus told his followers that they are the salt of the earth and the light of the world.  When we think of someone that is upright and wholesome we say… “That person is the salt of the earth.”  What does this mean?  How can a person be salty or light?  In the next few weeks, kids will return to school, sports activities will ramp up, and community events will increase.  If you call yourself a follower of Jesus Christ, YOU are salt in the world.  Let’s jump into scripture together and live as salt and light.
