Rock Bottom

Have you ever hit rock bottom in your life? When we find ourselves in total despair and hopelessness, we tend to turn towards something that might soothe us. Rock bottom is the place where you feel like things can’t get any worse. Who or what do you turn to? This week we are going to hear two stories in Acts 17 about rock bottom. One of them is of Paul and Silas and the other is the story of the jailer. Both will eventually turn to Jesus but the jailer will have a slight delay.
You may be the person close to rock bottom or you might be the person who is ministering to someone in that place. Either way, we are going to learn and grow as we study the powerful story of Paul and Silas in prison.
