SERMONS

In the Flesh

December 11, 2022

There are so many symbols around Christmas time, trees, hats, lights, reindeer, candles, and so many more.  The one that captures the real meaning of Christmas is the baby Jesus in the manger.  Wrapped in swaddling clothes, the infant Jesus is the picture of the incarnation, God in the flesh.  God so loved the world that he sent his Son to be a man, in the flesh.  For the next two weeks at Lake Community Church, we are going to consider the abundant implications of this simple truth.  The symbol of the baby in the manger is the picture of the infinite God.
