Out of the storm and into the belly of a fish.  This Sunday we are going to continue our series, Minor League, as we study chapter two in the book of Jonah.  In this story, Jonah hits rock bottom.  It can’t get any worse for him at this point.  It’s dark, scary, and fishy…  Jonah does what many of us would have done in his position, he prays.  Whether you were about to take a test you haven’t studied for or you are fearing death, our natural reflex is to pray.  Put yourself in Jonah’s situation, what would you pray for? What is our response to rock bottom?  Will we choose to do what is right?  For the first time in the entire book of Jonah, he will do the right thing.
