A Predictable Pattern

On to the next city.  After being run out of the last place, Paul and Barnabas find a new city to share the word of the Lord.  This time, they will experience even more persecution and even an attack. It seems the Gospel is divisive everywhere they go.  The apostles discovered that sharing the good news would require work, dedication, pain, and even a risk to their lives.  Not everyone wants to hear or allow the Gospel to be shared.  Are we prepared to share the Gospel even though it seems to cause divisiveness?  What if we are considered hateful or an enemy of the community because of the Lord’s message given to us?  The early church learned this lesson the hard way.
