The Power of Scripture

How will you respond to the truths in scripture?  It’s so easy to read something in the Bible and disagree with it, not because it isn’t true or that it isn’t what the Bible is teaching, but because you don’t like it.  Maybe it makes you feel something you don’t like.  In our culture today, many reject truth on the basis of feeling rather than whether it is true or not.  This week we are going to continue in our series in Acts.  Paul is going to experience two drastically different receptions on the truths of scripture that he will be sharing with the Jews in the synagogue. One group will become angry and jealous while the others will explore scripture and seek truth.

Which will you be when the Bible challenges your ethics, worldview, and foundation?  Will you be of “noble character?”
