The Ministry of Encouragement

Can a word of encouragement really make a difference? As we live out our faith in fear and trembling we need to encourage one another daily. Encouraging others costs us nothing but gives so much to the person that is receiving those words. In the next chapter of Acts, Paul spends a considerable amount of time encouraging the established churches. What can we learn about encouragement? What are the ways we can practically strengthen the Church and the Body of Christ through simple words and deeds of encouragement?
