Resilience

March 20, 2022

Resilience is the ability to keep going or bounce back under pressure.  Resilience is more than just enduring or drudging onward.  Instead, those that are resilient are poised to thrive after times of extreme pressure.  Are you resilient?  After studying the first seven chapters of Revelation, it is clear that the Church must be resilient.  In fact, the church is often asked to be “ready.”  Certainly this means are we ready in our decision to follow Jesus but this also means are we ready for the hard work ahead of us.

When you have gone through a hard season, do you bounce back?  We are going to take a short pause in our regularly planned series to discuss how we might have a resilient faith and walk with Jesus when we go through the storms of life.  When you go through personal struggle, how can you be ready to bounce back?  When you go through low points in your marriage, how can you be ready to bounce back?  As a church, how can we bounce back after a hard season?

Scripture is PACKED with encouragement and examples of resilience.  Join us on Sunday morning as we arm ourselves with the scriptures to be a people who hold unswervingly to the hope we profess.
