The church was scattered because of the martyrdom of Stephen. As Christians spread around the known world, the message of Jesus went with them. This week, in our final message from the book of Acts, we find ourselves back in Jerusalem reading about a new persecution affecting the church. How does the church respond this time?
How should Christians today respond in times of persecution? The truth is that we must decide how we will respond when the time comes to stand up under such hardship. How would you respond if your pastor was put in prison for the Gospel? How would you respond if YOU were put in prison for the Gospel? These were not hypothetical questions for the church in Acts 12.
