Everywhere we look we see that our culture is in decline. When you turn on the news, you see the fighting over words and harsh rhetoric being thrown back and forth between two opposing views. When you open the newspaper, we hear more and more about horrible actions people have taken upon other people, murder, theft, kidnapping, and worse. When you turn your radio on, you hear music glorifying immoral behavior. Is there any doubt that we are in the end times?
We have been going through a series in 2 Timothy called Grit. In 2 Timothy 3, Paul gives a warning to the church about the “last days.” It might sound scary, but Paul does not want us to be caught unprepared for what he knows the church will have to experience.
