Ron and his wife of 30 years, Karen, moved to Alexandria from Lindstrom, MN to serve as our Senior Pastor. He’s a passionate communicator of the gospel, and loves seeing God’s Word change lives as people choose to follow Jesus- first in his own life and then in others around him. They have 3 adult sons (David, Eric, & Neal), who try to keep up with dad’s hunting & fishing. He & Karen love old movies and long walks.

Steve Galbraith
PLT Member
Steve is our ‘kiwi’ on our PLT, with family roots in New Zealand and an accent to prove it! He and his wife Sylvia, of 21 years, have two sons- David (married to Amanda with 3 month old granddaughter Desiree) and Matthew, a high school senior. When Steve isn’t day-dreaming about his homeland or Lord of the Rings, he’s busy serving our church family in youth ministry & practical helps. He’s an avid reader & motorcycle enthusiast.

Jon Gaugert
PLT Chairman
Jon’s been married to Linda for 29 exciting years, and is severely outnumbered by his 4 daughters (Sari, Abby, Brenna, and Lauren).  He is the chairman of our PLT and director of Worship Arts & Music Ministry.  His passion is mentoring with other guys and seeing firsthand how Jesus truly cares for His people.  He’s into golf, boat cruising on Lake Cowdry with his family, and enjoys writing and producing his own music.

Edgar Timberlake
PLT Member

With family ties in North Carolina, Edgar's ‘southern hospitality’ and warm personality bring a rich depth of friendliness to our PLT.  His wife of 34 years, Wendy, also enjoys welcoming visitors in their home or at church, desiring people to know and follow Jesus.  When Edgar isn’t visiting his plethora of kids and grandkids, he and Wendy are on the golf course, or their practice range in their backyard!

KrisAnn Carlsen
Children's Director

KrisAnn loves to use her giftedness to coordinate our Children’s Ministry.  Whether it’s through Childrens Church, Sunday School, or ZONE after school program, you’ll see her suburban flying around the Alex area with her kids or for ministry events.  She and her husband of 19 years, Brian, have 4 kids (Eric, Anna, Karina, & Matthew).  She loves living on Lake Miltona, watching her kids’ sports, and is a hardcore ‘scrapper’.

Jeff Pankratz
Student Ministries and Missions Pastor
Jeff has a lovely wife named Anna, a squirrely 2 yr old (Justus), and a squawky newborn (Jason).  He describes his testimony as a partying college student confronted with the gospel as a ‘spiritual 2 x 4 to the face’.  As our Student and Missions Pastor, Jeff equips us for local and global outreach, and directs EPIC Student Ministries with teams at school campuses.  He loves sports, working out, his Lake Ida cabin, and hates all forms of mint.

 

Melody Warren

Care & Women's Minister

Melody's love for Jesus has given her a compassion for people who are hurting, spending her time in counseling sessions or teaching women God’s Word.  She loves it when God speaks to people, changes lives, and empowers them to make wise choices.  She & her husband of 23 years, Brad, have two adult daughters (Toni and Maggie).   Melody enjoys time at home, eating a good meal with her family and friends, harassing her pets, & traveling.
