Missions & Outreach Ministry

Pray for our ministry team March 10-21 as they partner with our sister church in Izmir, Turkey!  Because informartion about their trip is sensitive to display over the internet, please drop by LCC offices to see their full itinerary.  The biggest things we need to be praying about are 1) Developing and Training Turks into Ministry Leaders, 2) Seeing multiple Turks respond to the gospel, 3) Team unity and love.

Help us Reach Out to Others With the Gospel!  Sunday afternoon and evenings are a great night with many opportunities to help others experience Jesus Christ.
On 1st Sundays of the month, Family Xperience (Fx) Worship is at our north campus 4pm.  Alpha courses are introductory lessons about Christianity, with a group meal on Sunday nights 5pm.
Do you know a young family, young adult, or college student that cant make it to 9am morning worship?  Why not invite them to meet Pastor Jeff for Epic Sun nights at Alex Tech College, 6:30pm?
Let's connect relationally with people we run into every day, and use those basic relationships to bring the gospel of Jesus Christ into their lives.

Jesus has asked us to 'go and make disciples of all nations' (Matthew 28:18-20).  How could we not accept this amazing opportunity to serve and share our faith with others?  The Acts 1:8 Missions Team focuses on helping LCC families 'reach and build' by focusing on 4 key areas for evangelism and establishing churches.  In the spirit of the first church of Jerusalem, we will take the gospel to: 1) Our own local community- our Alexandria Focus, 2) Our own regional community- our MN church planting and evangelism focus, 3) Our own cross-cultural neighbors- our Ensenada, Mexico focus, and 4) Our own global community- our focuses in Izmir, Turkey and in northern Thailand.  We also support individuals and projects outside of these four focus areas, although to a lesser degree.  We have seen powerful works of God in and through Acts 1:8 Missions, and hope for more!
